How we are funded
We are in one affiliate programme, and we have earned nothing from it. Here is exactly where that stands.
One programme, no earnings yet
We joined Make’s affiliate programme on 24 September 2026. If you create a Make account through a link on this site marked as an affiliate link, we may receive a commission. It does not change what you pay: the link opens Make’s ordinary registration page at Make’s published prices.
We have earned nothing from it so far — no commission, from anyone. We are not in any other affiliate programme. Every other rate in the table below is what that programme publishes on its own page, recorded so you can see what we stood to gain before we wrote a word about them.
Commission does not decide what we publish. We carry one affiliate link, on the Make tool page, and the rest of our Make coverage — the comparisons, the billing-unit page, the workflow measurements — carries no affiliate link at all. Where a free or non-affiliate option is the better answer, we still say so.

What we do not do
- We accept no paid placement, and no vendor sees our content before it is published.
- We do not take commission rates from affiliate directories. We checked fourteen such claims and found them wrong or unsourceable.
- We do not hide it when the right answer earns us nothing.
Things we recommend that pay us nothing
- Google Forms writing straight to Google Sheets. Free, native, and it solves our most-searched problem without any automation tool.
- Self-hosted n8n Community. Free forever. n8n pays affiliates on Cloud only.
- Looker Studio for reporting. Free, and better than a spreadsheet automation for most reporting jobs.
- Zapier. Its affiliate programme is gated and its rate undisclosed, so we cannot earn from it whatever we say.
