Problem A11
I manually pull my SEO and ranking numbers together into a report every week.
What you are doing now
You open Google Search Console, note down clicks and a handful of rankings, switch to your analytics tool for traffic, maybe check a rank tracker separately, then copy all of it into a spreadsheet or slide deck by hand — usually once a week, sometimes for a client.
How often: Weekly for most small businesses; more often for anyone reporting to a client.
What you want instead
The numbers assemble themselves on a schedule, from the sources that actually hold them, without a weekly copy-and-paste session.
The free option first
Google Search Console already shows clicks, impressions and average position for your own site at no cost, and Looker Studio can turn that into a scheduled report with no automation tool in the middle. For a single site with no client to report to, this is usually enough on its own.
Who should not do this
Anyone checking their own numbers a few times a month out of curiosity, not running a repeatable reporting cycle. A free Search Console check costs nothing and needs no automation.
Before you build anything for this, the Automation Decision Sheet works out whether it is worth automating at all. It is free, needs no email address, and often concludes that it is not.
Tools relevant to this
We have not built and run a workflow for this one yet. Below is the tool this problem relates to, reviewed from its own documentation rather than from hands-on testing — the tool page says exactly which.
