Problem A14
I send updates to my whole list by copying the same email to everyone.
What you are doing now
You write one email, BCC or paste in every contact's address, and send it whenever you remember to. A new subscriber gets nothing until the next blast — there's no welcome message, no way to send something different to someone who clicked versus someone who didn't, and cleaning bounced or unsubscribed addresses out of the list is your own manual job every time.
How often: Continuous — every new contact and every scheduled send, not a one-off task.
What you want instead
A new contact gets an automatic welcome message the moment they join, ongoing sends go out on a schedule without a manual compose-and-paste step each time, and unsubscribes and bounces are handled for you rather than tracked by hand.
The free option first
A plain BCC email or a Gmail group covers an occasional update to a short list at zero cost. Zoho Campaigns' own Forever Free plan goes further at no cost too — up to 2,000 contacts and 6,000 emails a month, per its own pricing page — though its free tier is documented as not including automated workflows, so a new subscriber still gets nothing automatically on that tier.
Who should not do this
Anyone emailing a handful of contacts rarely enough that a personal, individually written email is still realistic. An automated welcome sequence is solving a volume and consistency problem you may not have yet.
Before you build anything for this, the Automation Decision Sheet works out whether it is worth automating at all. It is free, needs no email address, and often concludes that it is not.
Tools relevant to this
We have not built and run a workflow for this one yet. Below is the tool this problem relates to, reviewed from its own documentation rather than from hands-on testing — the tool page says exactly which.
